Your website should be treated as a conversion factor as this is the primary focus for it being online. It does not matter whether you are a government organisation or a budding entrepreneur, your website needs customers to do something to interact with you. This is the “Call To Action”. If you are in business, you will want to get customers to request a quote or to start a trial or just to get some information about your products or your company. If you are a government organisation, you might want people to download a new piece of legislation that has an impact on their lives in a certain country.
So here we are again, how do you get a customer to do this? Make sure that when you introduce a great offer, you tell your customers how you want them to take advantage of this. The easy way that will sound familiar is “click here to take advantage of this offer” or “Buy now” as these words are commonly known to most folks. Now go back to your website and see if this is the case. If you have this, well done but if you don’t, then you are not getting the higher conversion rate that you want. On the same token, try not to put too many offers as you are bound to confuse customers. Instead offer different items at different intervals so that you will make their choice a little easier.
